Our GOLS rubberised coir is a natural core material made from coconut husk fibres, bonded with natural latex to create a stable, resilient and breathable structure. The fibres are derived from coconuts harvested without damaging the palm, making coir a renewable and low-impact resource.

The coir we use is certified organic (GOLS) and produced under fair working conditions, in collaboration with a German, family-owned manufacturer specialising in natural core materials. Production follows strict environmental and social standards and is carried out with a focus on durability, material purity and long-term performance.

As a core material, rubberised coir provides firmness and structural support while allowing air to circulate freely through the material. Its open and springy structure helps maintain shape over time, making it particularly well suited for applications where stability and longevity are essential.

Naturally resistant to mould, mildew and dust mites, rubberised coir does not require chemical treatments to remain hygienic. Combined with its breathability and material purity, this makes it a health-positive and durable choice for interior use.
